2009 PIEA student photo exhibitions begin world
tours
The Photo Imaging Education Association, a member
association of PMA®, announces the 2009 PIEA International Traveling
Photo Exhibition schedule. The top student photographs from around
the world begin three-year tours in two editions to 54 venues in
Australia, Canada, South Africa, United Kingdom, and the United
States. Two editions of 68 images each, chosen from over 6,000
entries from 114 schools, include the best work from ten countries:
Australia, Canada, China, Costa Rica, Guatemala, India, Iran, South
Africa, United Kingdom and the United States. The exhibitions open
May 3 and 4, 2008: one at Rye Country Day School in Rye, NY., and
the companion exhibition opens in Brisbane, Australia at the
Queensland College of Art. Both exhibitions will return to the USA
and tour into 2011 finishing up with tours in the United Kingdom and
South Africa. No other student photo competition is seen by as many

2008 PIEA student photo exhibitions begin world tours
The Photo Imaging Education Association, a member association of PMA®, announces the 2008 PIEA International Traveling Photo Exhibition schedule. The top student photographs from around the world begin three-year tours in two editions to 58 venues in Australia, Canada, South Africa, United Kingdom, and the United States. Two editions of 71 images each, chosen from over 6,100 entries from 115 schools, include the best work from nine countries: Australia, Canada, China, Guatemala, Honduras, India, South Africa, United Kingdom and the United States. The exhibitions open April 14 and May 9, 2008: one at Harrington College of Design in Chicago, IL., and the companion exhibition opens in Brisbane, Australia at the Queensland College of Art. Both exhibitions will return to the USA and tour into 2010 finishing up with tours in the United Kingdom, South Africa and New Zealand.
